  2. (Edit for stupid grammar mistake.)

An artist statement would have been nice to elaborate on the idea of 'glitch' here. Visually the piece reads cryptically and congested, and it would assist in comprehending what it may be about. I can gather looking hard that it is 'you' whom is glitching, but a passer-by may not.

Would have been helpful to post original photo and your model as well. What elements there were of the model. It seems like the element of 3D is overtaken here by all of the other ingredients. Your initial idea of modeling the hand and shoe fell through it seems. Whether that be with time constraints or laziness.

I am interested in how the 'image' you decided to include (the blue programming/PC language) slides into the model and iPad. There seems to be a randomness to the design that seems like a good mix of unconscious design and intention.

Retreading steps, double guess where the spiders belong and do not belong in works. It is nice as an extended narrative, as we've observed, but they seem to add only aesthetic and no story value here. This was briefly touched upon with Project 3. If the intent was to add no meaning with the spider and be playful, that might make me curious about how that playfulness contrasts with the attempt at meaning in 'Glitch'.

With the design you had, against the grain of your original plan, a modeling of iPad or iPad buttons would have been a clever idea. On a deeper, less pragmatic, level, the intermingling of PC language with Apple devices may drive some Silicon Valley nuts bonkers. Like with the spiders, there is a difference between the 'aesthetic' and 'functional'. Some people may look at two different languages altogether and be confused.

All in all, I think it was rushed. The primary element, 3D, especially. I think your talent exceeds what is presented here. With more time spent, this could have been a visually appealing piece. I say this all with respect, as you are clearly capable.
